What an amazing day it is,
The whole ambiance is perfect and nothing’s amiss.
Talking to like-minded people with ample laughter and giggles,
Happening environment and fun could give you a jiggle.
The place, the demeanour was close to perfect,
On the top the delectable food was pluperfect.
An ideal place filled with fun and frolic called mocha,
Tunes filling the ears with soulful music and food’s aroma.
Hey, folks! What is the most important thing in one’s life? Apart from oxygen what else do we need? FOOD!!Since centuries we have been observing man put so much of hard work just to fill their stomach. I’m sure these days everyone is a fitness freak, but once in a while we should binge on whatever we like (as we have earned this rightfully by doing so much of hard work since the time our ancestors walked the earth: P) Hoodwinking with your diet once in a week won’t make any difference (but definitely not like a glutton: D). Here’s the story about my fortuitous chance to meet up my blogger friends last Sunday in a new place called ‘LucknowMocha’. Frankly I’m not a food enthusiast, but definitely, l love to eat and explore new places. The thing which attracted me the most was the interiors of the place. Normally, I don’t wish to experiment with my taste buds unless it is necessary. If it comes to selecting a place to relish my palate I can count the names on my fingertips. But to my surprise, there is a new addition to my list and that is 'Lucknowmocha'.
It's a good place with affectionate ambiance and will make you fall in love with it the moment you enter. The lovely blue coloured doors and windows give it a vintage, yet modern look. Beautifully panelled wooden work and selected artifacts were much to talk about. Every corner is very tastefully done and would compel you to come back for family dinners, coffee dates, brunches with friends.
I’m a Merchant Naval Officer’s wife and whenever he’s in town he wishes to explore every place in the city for good food. Each time we decide to go on a date or a romantic dinner ‘where to go' is a recurring issue. We always crib that Lucknow has very few places where we get good food with a nice ambiance. But I think this time when my ‘Big Cheese ‘is back he will be pleasantly surprised to know that I’ve discovered a nice place to hang out.
The beauty of this place lies in the fact that it is a perfect choice for family lunch/ dinner, a romantic date or just having a ‘cup of joe’ with an old friend. Even the college goers would find it to be an extremely affordable hangout place. The location is absolutely perfect and unlike the rest of Lucknow you will not feel hassled by traffic woes or the current metro construction scenario in the city.
So, with good company and scrumptious meal, it was a perfect Sunday brunch for me. The menu is pretty elaborate and will titillate the taste bud of every food lover. They have an extensive range of mocktails, shakes, starters, and main course dishes. Not to forget the amazing range of freaky shakes and smoothies. The main course has every single dish with their signature twist.
In the drinks, I ordered ‘pink lemonade’ that was fresh water lemonade with a hint of cranberry in it. It looked heavenly and tasted even better. (maybe I’m little bigoted as I ‘m a big fan of cranberry flavour). The mouth-watering chicken tikka platter in starters alone would give the much-needed food orgasm :P. The main course was equally enticing in which I ordered a 'chicken panini'( though I never managed to get a bite.. or didn’t get a chance) so I can imagine how it tasted :D. The other thing on the table was ‘Tex mex chicken sizzler’ which tasted heavenly and out of this world. After my US trip, I finally managed to get a good and well-made tex mex chicken sizzler. So the food had a piquant glance as well as lovely taste.
I would highly recommend all the food lovers of Lucknow (non-foodies will become foodies, so do visit) to go to this place and explore and savour the food and refreshing interiors.
